Red Hot Rio Escorting Advice

The Hot Spot: Jumping the Censorship Fence

Censorship has increased over the last few years. Some of it is driven by a need to protect minors under the age of 18, while other aspects of it are about a political, moral, psychological and philosophical battle for control over what can be seen and what can be said.

Censorship has increased over the last few years. Some of it is driven by a need to protect minors under the age of 18, while other aspects of it are about a political, moral, psychological and philosophical battle for control over what can be seen and what can be said. This leave escorts with an ever-challenging environment to get seen and heard when promoting their services. Escort and Escort Rankings' writer RedHotTrio therefore offers her take on it.

Censorship is rife in this in this viral climate where everything is posted on people's socials. The squeeze seems to be on what content is allowed to be shared without being seen as offensive or vulgar. Sure, we should protect minors from X-rated content, but there is much hypocrisy out there in terms of what is acceptable and what is not.  For us that means raunchy photos or the ability to advertise our escort services may often result in a ban or removal of content. So how do we get round this?

Twitter: Use Sensitive Content Settings

Well, I'll start with Twitter. If you are going to be sharing sensitive media, make sure your Twitter profile is set as such, so that your posts can't be seen by those who might be offended by its nature. I made the mistake of using topless pictures in my profile and header images and my account was closed immediately and I had to start over.

I thought this was a bit harsh. It was a case of 0 strikes and you're out. You are also not allowed to openly advertise sexual services. Through the grapevine, I heard one girl had her account closed specifically for this reason and she had 50,000 followers.

You can get round it though! A good tip is to put an enticing comment and then your Escort Rankings link. For example, I put a 10 second clip of me deepthroating a client with the caption “Bet you'd love this to be you…” That way you are pointing towards the fact that you are an escort without saying it out loud.

Another good way to advertise is to post a linktr.ee with everything on it, such as your sites for

Meets, video chat, photos, or videos all in one. As long as your profile protection is on, Twitter are quite lenient with posts. I have had many bookings through clicks on my link on Twitter by

following these steps.

Instagram: A Bag of Contradictions

Where do I start? All of a sudden, it's ever so prim and proper for the general

populace. I had a post reported because I have big boobs. I was totally clothed and it wasn't a sexual pose. After arguing with Instagram, they never removed it, but I have had others

removed where I was topless but covered my nipples with “stickers”. The odd thing is that there are plenty of videos showing boobs, albeit with nipples covered on this channel.

The contradiction is that a certain amount of nudity is permitted, within certain caveats. Yet you cannot openly advertise escort services on Instagram. Even the hashtags #kissing and #curvygirls are banned. However, it is okay for big companies like Honey Birdette to advertise their lingerie in a provocative manner.

Three adverts I've seen recently include “Get on the naughty list”, where a girl is being softly choked by another female model. “Get frisky by the fire”, showing one girl

straddling another with a video camera insinuating filmed lesbian sex. Finally, one called

“Chastity red and black”, where a model is topless wearing nipple covers. This is Ok for

someone who is paying Instagram lots of money to advertise, but girls such as us who may buy their products for our 'work outfit' would be banned for sharing something similar.

Double standards? I think so! My way round it is to post flirtatious stuff that is more “fashion” in pose and then you can advertise your services via direct message to followers you think may be interested. I also put the hashtag #workinggirl on my posts. I have had a few bookings through Instagram who clicked on the Escort Rankings link I sent them.

Snapchat: Use Messaging

Snapchat has got me many clients, that is once I have weeded out the ones who are looking for a free hookup or a relationship. I'd be wary of posting any escort links on your Snapchat stories. Instead keep it all via messaging. Create a good avatar to draw people in. Mine has horns and I use my escort name to entice potential clients.

Facebook: Post Fashion-like Photos

Facebook is stricter than Instagram. I have posted my 'fashion' type photos successfully, but

have never advertised escorting services as anything involving the terms “escort” or 'adultwork' resulted in my posts being flagged and removed. I therefore suggest keeping Facebook personal for your life outside of escorting.

It's a minefield getting your name out there. As long as you know the tips and tricks, you can

garner a lot of clients through your socials. As an independent escort, you will have to do a lot of the leg work yourself, but then that makes the results much more rewarding. So, plug the hell out of yourself and conquer the world! Until next time, wishing you all a plentiful bounty of clients!
